Hello and welcome to my blog! My name is Kelly... though my blog is branded as 'Kelly Elle', I only go by my first name (as most people do). I am currently 28-years-old, born on the seventh of March, and with no coincidence, my favorite number happens to be seven! I live in New Jersey and have lived here nearly all of my life, but I was born in Brooklyn, New York. I find that I much prefer suburbs and country-like areas rather than the hustle and bustle of cities... but the occasional visit is always a nice, very temporary change!
I graduated from Vocational Technical School in 2012 with my Cosmetology license. I love the beauty and fashion industry, but I decided not to practice my trade. I do renew my license every two years, but I do not ever see myself becoming a hair stylist or makeup artist. Knowing I did not want to pursue a hands-on career in the realm of hair or makeup, I went to college. I graduated in three years time with three degrees (I told you I like odd numbers). I have a dual-associate's degree in both Liberal Arts and Humanities, and a Bachelor of Arts degree with a concentration in American History. As of 2020, I decided to go back to school for esthetics. I am currently a licensed esthetician in both Oregon and New Jersey!
Filming YouTube videos has become a hobby of mine. It took awhile to get comfortable in front of the camera, but for any fellow introverts out there... if you ever thought about getting on YouTube, do it! I feel like it helped me become less socially awkward in my daily life (and please note I said "less")! I enjoy writing, and with my love of the fashion/beauty field... I have always felt like my calling was to create a blog. So, here we are... right here... on my blog!
In closing, I just want to let you all know my blog is my very own small space to share my personal style as well as my thoughts or reviews on things/items! My posts will reflect my 100% honest thoughts.
