Dupes or Duds | ShopHush
Welcome to my first ever comparison post! I was recently contacted by a website, ShopHush, and asked if I would like to film a video reviewing some items from their website. I was beyond interested, so after a little research... I selected four items and they sent them over to me! If you would like to watch the video, it is currently up on my YouTube channel! Not everything was my favorite, but I did love two palettes by Bad Habit Beauty. The palettes I fell in love with were "mock" palettes of the ever-so-popular Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance and Subculture palettes!
Below I included images of both palettes. I would like to note that I do not own either of the ABH palettes, so I went into my local Sephora to get my photographs! I will include price point, color names, and weight in the immediate description... but scroll beyond the photos if you want my full review!

Both ABH palettes have a velvet-feel packaging which is seemingly luxurious, but I personally am not a fan of it because it gets so dirty. The palettes in Sephora looked awful! The ABH palettes both come with dual-sided brushes, which is a great bang for your buck... but as I have never used them, I cannot tell you if the brushes are even any good! Both Modern Renaissance and Subculture swatched very well; however, Subculture was milled very soft and has a lot of mixed reviews among consumers.
The Bad Habit Beauty palettes are really giving ABH a run for their money. Both Royals & Retro Love retail at $10... and do you see those swatches?! The packages are cardboard, so that makes for an easy clean... and all four palettes (both palettes from both brands) have a mirror in them and a magnetic close mechanism. All four also have minor kick-up but they are extremely pigmented! It also seems as though Bad Habit took note on which shades to mimic in their palettes. The different formulas mirror the same color in the higher-end palettes, for example the color Electric (Subculture) and Icon (Retro Love) are a yellow-green duo chrome shadow.
Overall, I have to say... I cannot believe the quality of these Bad Habit Beauty palettes. If you dreamt of having the Modern Renaissance or Subculture palette (or both), but do not feel like paying the whopping $42 for them, these $10 dupes are the real deal! Also! ShopHush gave me a code for 10% off. You can enter KELLY at checkout and get the palettes for $9, with free shipping if you purchase them in the ShopHush app! I can only say... GET ON IT because tutorials are to come!

Crest White Strips | Review
Hello everyone! Happy Fall! I am so excited it is finally here... October is my favorite month in terms of the weather in the North Eastern United States. Of course I am not here to talk about the weather, but I figured it needed a quick shout out. Today's post is about Crest Whitestrips... focusing on my experience and results! I purchased the Crest 3D White No Slip Supreme Flexfit Whitestrips, which claim to whiten "like a $500 professional treatment."
In the kit you receive 42 strips (21 upper and 21 lower) for a total of 21 treatments. These treatments are to be done for an hour once daily and "will not whiten caps, crowns, veneers, fillings or dentures." There are a few mentions about the product in regards to effects and if you should be using it. The possible side effects of usage are tooth sensitivity and gum discomfort, which I did experience but it was mild and is not permanent. If you use the whitestrips and your teeth feel sensitive or you experience gum discomfort, Crest recommends you stop usage for 2-3 days. If you are questioning if whitestrips are safe for your teeth (especially if you are in need of or have dental work) please ask your dentist!
The flexfit strips fit comfortably on the teeth and are not to be used on loose teeth, restorations, or braces. The strips use peroxide (an enamel-safe ingredient) to whiten the teeth, and occasionally you may notice white spots on the teeth after use. I did not notice any spots on my teeth but Crest notes that the spots are temporary and will go away! The whitestrips definitely work and my teeth are definitely whiter, however I want a more noticeable change... so I will probably give my teeth a break and do it again in 2-4 weeks!
Please use Crest whitestrips as directed. There are various kinds and coupons, I purchased mine at Target with a coupon from Cartwheel (it brought my box down to $49.99). If you are interested in seeing my chompers in action, I do have a YouTube video up focusing on the strips as well, just click the YouTube social icon in the header!

PHARRELL WILLIAMS ||| Hues of Humanity
I love, love, love shoes. I feel that shoes are a great item to create a fashion statement with because they can easily set the tone for any outfit. My favorite shoe overall is definitely a pointy-toe flat with an ankle strap, but I have a fairly good variety of shoes for the four seasons I experience here in New Jersey (and we are not talking hoarder level, I swear). The only shoe (besides heels, because I do not wear heels) that I lacked in my "collection" was a pair of comfortable, fashionable sneakers... until now that is! I would say I am not a huge sneaker wearer, but I do have a few pairs (one pair for working out/getting dirty, and another pair that I keep as clean as possible so they stay semi-professional, but I am not nervous if they get a scuff here and there from running around doing stock).
When I was in Oregon this past visit, I ended up at the Adidas headquarters where I saw the Pharrell Williams Hu Tennis shoe for the first time. They did not have my size in stock, so I went on a hunt. Since the shoe is sold in mens sizing and unisex youth... I was able to fit into a youth size 7 (for reference, I normally wear a womens 9)! I am pretty excited about the size because obviously the youth-sized shoe is cheaper than the adult shoe, so that was a huge bonus for me! I ordered mine off Champs online and utilized a coupon which brought my shoe cost down to $56! Not too shabby. The color way is Running White / Running White / Raw Pink and it was definitely the raw pink tabs that sold me, just see for yourself!
